As we pray the Scriptures and powerful prayers of our Christian tradition each day, our personal faith in God strengthens with each repetition. This is far from the “vain repetition” Jesus warned us about (Matthew 6:7). This is purposeful repetition, a rehearsal of the revelation of God to our spirits. May the Holy Spirit use this book to increase the faith of those who read it.

STEPHEN PHIFER

Stephen Phifer, as a third-generation minister with the Assemblies of God, serves the Lord as writer, musician, teacher, and all-around encourager. With more than 50 years of ministry on his record, he remains active in music education and worship arts education. He holds bachelors and masters degrees in music education and a doctorate in worship studies.

This is his sixth book to reach print, and more are on the way. He is married to a wonderful musician and music educator, Freeda. In 2024, they celebrated 50 years of a powerful and peaceful partnership.
